Principal's Message

Dear Suwanee Elementary Parents and Community Members,

It is with immense gratitude and pride that I write this letter of introduction as
your principal for Suwanee Elementary. My name is Mary Taylor, and I am
very grateful for the opportunity to be part of the North Gwinnett Cluster and
partner with our cluster’s outstanding principals, Suwanee Elementary’s
amazing students, teachers, families, and community.

When I began my journey as an educator, I knew I wanted to make a
difference in the lives of those I served, and this continues to be the vital
component of what drives me every day to support teaching and learning. I
have been serving students, teachers, and families in Gwinnett County Public
Schools for over 16 years. I began my career as a middle school teacher
supporting students in the areas of Language Arts and Social Studies. For 6
years, I had the opportunity to serve as the Assistant Principal for W.J. Cooper
Elementary.

In closing, I am continually reminded that our greatest resource in our schools
and communities is each other. Together we create a school we all love.
Suwanee Elementary stands for success, and each school year brings new
opportunities to grow and learn together.
